Parents Association for the Welfare of the Children with Mental Handicap

Self- reliance in any measure is the only road for a dignified life. Therefore, empowerment through training is our guiding philosophy

Knowing people with intellectual disability closely and sensitively is a deeply humanizing experience. They make us realize that there are diverse ways of being in this world. Their capacity for love and happiness touches you deeply. They teach us unconditional love, living in the present, faith & innocence, and freedom from  egoism. If we can imbibe these qualities in us--- life would be truly beautiful.
